About — Aarti, up close

Entrepreneur. Speaker. Host. And a woman who's never been particularly interested in following the script.

Aarti laughing in a long black coat, arms crossed

At nineteen, while most of her peers were figuring out university life, Aarti was already running her first business. A Bachelor's in Business Administration and a Master's in Marketing Management followed.

She built Damn Good Brands, her own creative agency, then moved into corporate organisations and Dutch government institutions as a trusted strategic communications professional — turning complicated issues into stories people could understand.

Today, that same ability to connect ideas, people and perspectives is at the heart of her work as a speaker, host and moderator. Born and raised in the Netherlands, with roots in Suriname and India, Aarti brings a curiosity about identity, belonging and who people might become.

A successful life on paper was only the beginning. The deeper work was making that life her own.

Workshops & talks

Popular topics.

Three topics, as a workshop or a talk. What your people take home: a clearer perspective and a conscious next step.

01

Boldness

Personal agency

"How much of your career have you consciously chosen?"

Agency means steering your own career instead of being steered by expectations — from family, culture or the organisation itself. Aarti makes it concrete: naming what you actually want, saying no without guilt, and choosing the room instead of waiting to be chosen. In a corporate setting that matters more than ever — people who consciously choose their path are more engaged, more resilient and better leaders.

As a workshop or a talk

Naming what you want, saying no without guilt, and turning that awareness into one conscious next step.

02

Eloquence

Authentic leadership

"What if you stopped performing the leader others expect?"

Leadership is not a role you perform — it's a voice you own. Aarti shows how identity and professional presence connect: saying what you mean in words that sound like you, deciding with integrity and combining conviction with empathy. Warmth and vulnerability don't weaken authority; they make it believable.

As a workshop or a talk

Finding your own words, articulating a personal perspective and practising honest, empathetic conversations.

03

Presence

Owning the room

"What does a room feel like when someone truly owns it?"

Presence is not volume, perfection or a personality type — it's the courage to be fully in the room. Aarti unpacks what actually makes people lean in: conviction, stillness, genuine listening. Your audience learns how presence is built — the one skill every meeting, pitch and stage depends on.

Reading the room, holding silence with confidence, and practising the small habits that make people lean in.

Being Yourself

On Success, Self-Truth & Personal Agency

Hosting & Moderation

A room in good hands.

Some people can hold a microphone. Others know how to hold a room.

Thoughtful preparation, a natural curiosity about people and the ability to make complex conversations feel accessible. With warmth, wit and a confident presence, Aarti creates space for speakers to shine and audiences to stay engaged.
